Easy enough to use, and the size is perfect — big enough to hold almost a quart of water, yet small enough to fit nicely on most kitchen counters. I only gave it 4 stars because its a bit industrial looking. They should have dressed it up better, as there are exposed screws and it has a cheap black plastic look to it. If you have a high end kitchen, you may want to pass on this, and pick a more aesthetically pleasing nespresso machine. Other than that, its a fantastic coffee maker.

I did my research…Nespresso vs Keurig. Hands down, if you are more into European style and quality coffee, this is for you. Keurig only wins on price. I went with the Original model, as you can use other brand pods made for Nespresso. Perfect size, easy to clean, hold many used pods before having to empty. Love it. Could not be happier.

It works very well. What I would like to share is that the first time use, it might need push more than three times to clean the air inside the machine, the first three times nothing came out, the fourth time, water started coming out.

This machine works beautifully. Have had a little difficulty using non-nespresso pods, but most just slip in. And I’m a sucker for good industrial design. Very happy with it. Coffee no longer tastes burnt…I’ve retired my bodum moka pot.

I was on a trip and the hotel I stayed in had one of these machines. The coffee it makes is great! So when I got back from my trip I ordered one to go along with all my other coffee stuff (kuerig, french press) It produces a great espresso and I usually get my pods at a big box store that sells different brands such as Starbucks and Peets, there are others as well.Try it !

This thing has changed my mornings, the coffee is so much better than the Keurig pods and I got so tired of the Keurig pots breaking all the time, they’ve lost me as a repeat customer due to poor quality.
The coffee with this machine tastes fantastic and love that the pods are recyclable.
Just deducting a star because it’s a bit difficult to fit the pod onto the machine, I may be missing a part unless I’m supposed to have to manually reach in and slide the pod into a slot I can’t see. I got used to it but ruined a few early on. Either way, insanely good coffee.

I have a Keurig coffee maker that I use every day and I bought this Nespresso coffee maker after try it in several occasions, they both make excellent cups of coffee, but they are not the same and in my opinion cannot be compared fairly. If you want a full mug of coffee, americano or latte (or anything in between) then Keurig is what you need to buy, but if you want a strong espresso or lungo then Nespresso it should be your choice.
With Keurig I have used several different brands of pods, getting a decent cup of coffee with most of them at very affordable prices, with Nespresso the choices are most limited and I found most of them a little bit more expensive with a bigger quality difference between suppliers being the golden standard the Nespresso pods which are superior to most brands in almost every aspect.
The coffee that I have tried in my Nespresso machine is just great, and is close enough to any made with a traditional pressured espresso machine, what if you compare the price of each machine it will make the decision really easy for you.
Although I like the Nesspreso coffe maker, I would like to discuss some issues that I have with the machine, the first one is the cup holder and the coffee exit design, the coffee exit is really close to the body of the machine, what makes the coffee drip really close to the border of your cup, the cup stand is at the same time really close to the coffee exit, so your cup might not fit. The manufacturer tried to fix this allowing you to rise the cup stand, but this is fixed to the tray and rises up what makes the coffee drip directly to the wall of your cup, and the stand doesn’t stay in the raised position pushing your cup away from the machine what adds another dimension to the same problem. So to make this short, make sure that you have two cups sizes that fit the machine (one for the espresso (2oz) and one for the lungo size (4oz))
Another issue is that when the water reservoir is empty it doesn’t let you know, you just realize it when you get less coffee out or hearing the crazy noises that the machine makes when gets empty.
The last issue is that you should be cleaning the tray where the pod is discarded, I would say as soon you can, as there almost 1/4 ounce of liquid in it every time you brew (what I believe is the water remaining inside the pod after brewing)

I have been a Nespresso lover for a bit already, and have been using their Vertuo machines (different pods). As good as the Vertuos are, I was getting tired of paying top dollar for Nespresso’s pods. With this Original Line machine, third party pods are available at all price points.
This machine has a good sized reservoir and spent pod holder, considering the size. Size of this is not large, easy to store away in a smaller kitchen, and takes up very little counter room.
I recommend this model
