RONHAN 20×50 Binoculars HD

We live on a ranch and I use these for surveillance and to just observe the mountains and general area so my use is long range. My normal viewing distance is between 300yd (my gate) and 10000yd (the peak of a mountain I watch). The binoculars aren’t bad but they aren’t as clear as my 20×50 rifle scope which should be comparable.

My complaint is that the focal center wheel is the only thing that holds the eyepiece to the binocular which allows the eyepiece to “walk” side to side after adjustment since it’s loose. After I focus in and I’m scanning a target the image gets blurry because holding it to my eyes causes the eyepiece to walk out of adjustment and I have to hold it in place with my thumb and index fingers. So I returned them.

If you need something very simple for close range then this *may* work but it’s pretty annoying having to constantly mess with them.

Update: This company contacted me and were very nice and wanted to make this right. They immediately sent out another pair of binoculars and followed up with me several times to make sure I knew the status of the replacement, etc.

The eyepiece was still loose on the replacement BUT I after watching a couple YouTube videos I realized it was VERY EASY to pop off the cover where the screw is that holds the eyepiece on the unit. It was very loose, I simply tightened it down and replaced the cover. The unit works perfectly now.

I changed my 2 star review to a 4. I did this because even though the replacement still had this issue this company showed some of the best customer service I’ve ever received on Amazon. The company RONHAN is a 5 star company but the loose screws costs a star.

I was hoping for something more powerful. I had no idea what 20/50 would result in. Wish the product gave a better view point. Had I known, I would have gone more powerful. But if you want bino’s of this magnitude, these are great.

For the price, you do usually get what you pay for. In this case, you actually get quite a bit of bang for the little bit of buck that was spent on these….after an additional 20% coupon they came out to around $36ish dollars…not bad at all. But its always depressing when a product falls short of its claims and is falsely advertised or misrepresented. Supposedly you expect to be getting 20X50 optics, because that’s what is advertised….NOPE! Lets put it this way…I have an older smaller pair of 10X25 Bushnell’s that actually seem to have roughly 1X more magnification then these…so that claimed 20X50 in reality is actually more like 9X50…the 50mm aperture does actually seem to reign true. Everything thing else, other then the magnification, for the price that is, is mostly quite good with these…the optics are crystal clear and gather plenty of light and I had no problem getting them focused. For the price I guess I’ll live with what these are…a 9X50 powered binocular… Lets just hope another pair I have on order, of a more reputable brand name, are truly a 25X70 and if so, I’m fine with my 9X50’s….lol…because either way, whether I like it or not…it is what it is and essentially I got what I paid for…and thats why these will live with my 3 star rating…had these actually been 20x…5 stars….but that too is what it is.

I love these Binoculars, I just recently got them but I have an acreage and like to look out on the property to watch all the wildlife. These are really good in the daytime, but are surprisingly still really good when the sun goes down and there is not a lot of light out.

I have 4 other binoculars that all suck. These are better than all of them an under $50. We bird watch from our porch while having morning coffee and check on the budding of our tropical trees.
