Oladance Open Ear

I purchased the Oladance Earbuds about a year ago, and I must say that they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. These earbuds are simply phenomenal, providing an great audio experience that is matched only by their impeccable comfort and sleek design.

Let’s start with the sound quality. The Oladance Earbuds deliver every solid audio experience full stop. They don’t go into the ear at all, yet they’re incredibly attached to your head and have never even felt like they will fall off, whether I’m walking around, working out, doing chores, etc. There isn’t much super low-down base since there is no seal, but that doesn’t bother me at all, and they still sound very good. I’ve had Sony WH1000-XM4’s, and they of course have a more immersive audio experience, however these serve their own purpose perfectly. Whether I’m listening to my favorite music, watching a video, or even taking calls, the sound reproduction is consistently top-notch. The bass is still punchy, the mid-range is crisp, and the highs are pretty clear. They certainly sound better than the Powerbeat Pros I tried before.

Comfort is another area where the Oladance Earbuds shine. The earbuds are designed with a secure and snug fit that stays in place. They are extremely easy to wear them for extended periods without any discomfort or irritation. Additionally, the earbuds are lightweight, which further enhances their overall comfort. I often forget I’m wearing these because they’re so comfortable, and I can hear everything outside them perfectly well. You can also lay down in bed and rest sideways with a pillow without much discomfort either, which is great!

One of the standout features of the Oladance Earbuds is their excellent battery life. I can enjoy several hours of uninterrupted music playback on a single charge, and the charging case provides multiple additional charges, ensuring that I never run out of power while on the go. The charging case itself is compact and sleek, making it easy to carry around and keep the earbuds safe when not in use.

The Bluetooth connectivity of the Oladance Earbuds is seamless and reliable. Pairing them with my devices is effortless, and the connection remains stable even when I’m moving around or in crowded areas. The earbuds also have intuitive touch controls, allowing me to easily control music playback, adjust volume, answer calls, and activate my voice assistant (I use Google assistant) with just a few taps.

Lastly, I can’t overlook the elegant design of the Oladance Earbuds. The sleek and minimalist design, coupled with the premium build quality, gives them a truly high-end feel. The charging case has a matte finish that not only looks stylish but also provides a good grip. These earbuds are definitely a fashion statement that complements any outfit.

*They also sell a $50 USD battery case that I highly recommend. It charges them over and over without needing a recharge itself for a long time, and they’re stored in there as well of course. There’s nothing wrong with the case they originally come with, however it does not have an internal battery, so they’re charged solely by plugging the case in if you do not have the battery case.

I will say the one thing I would change about these is I would add multipoint bluetooth connectivity. You can only connect to 1 device at a time with these, but it’s not a huge deal for me, since it’s very quick and easy to change the connection from 1 device to another.

In conclusion, the Oladance Earbuds have truly won me over with their exceptional comfort, all-day battery life, great sound quality, and premium design. They have quickly become my go-to earbuds for almost any occasion. I highly recommend giving the Oladance Earbuds a try. They are well worth the investment and truly deserve a solid 5-star rating!

This power case looks good and feels good. Battery lasts for weeks.
But it is just very hard to hold firmly and open. It is because the case is round shape and surface is so smooth. Now I glue a string on the inside so the lid can be easily pulled up.

I really really really wanted to love these headphones…!

Long story short: I have misophonia and am very sensitive to audio stimulus, especially if my condition deems it a bad sound. These headphones emit a constant audible hissing noise as part of their noise cancellation, a feature I did not even realize existed on this device until I started using them and contacted the seller to hopefully address the issue, at which point they revealed that the white noise is intended and expected. I came back to double-check the product description and noticed that the ONLY places where noise cancellation is even mentioned as a feature are in the section where Amazon compares the current item to other similar items in a spreadsheet style (so not really part of the seller’s product description), and then in user reviews (which certainly no one is going to read all of or to search for a term that wasn’t mentioned in the description). I was very disappointed to discover that what I consider a needless feature, one which I actively avoid on all my audio listening devices, was forced on to this device and with no user way to disable it; there are a couple very limited options in the app to mess with the timing of the hiss turning off when audio is not playing, but I don’t understand why they can’t add an option to just disable the white noise entirely… let me choose if I want noise cancellation on or not. I honestly would pay more for this same product with noise cancellation entirely removed, because I love the fit and design and other features of this device so much!

In the end, I can’t really make consistently good use of these, but I am still rating them 5 stars because of everything else I love about the device and mostly because of the pleasant and helpful customer service I received when detailing my issues directly before just giving up and returning the item.

If you are someone who doesn’t have audio sensitivity issues, and who wants noise cancellation on your device, I do highly recommend these for you!
