Sony Headphones WH H910N

Great product, good sound and sturdy.

Unfortunately one side stopped producing audio after two months. So trying to get in touch with Amazon support to get it repaired or returned under guarantee. But I’m getting stuck in an endless loop to get this done:
1 – to return item, go to page of your past orders
2 – select the order you want to return (which I do)
3 – but then there is no option/button to actually return the product!
4 – So I browse to find the service desk – search for help on returning broken product, end up under item 1 above
5 – So I try to find a way to chat with service desk, I get told that I need to install Amazon app, which I do. I open the app: nowhere can I find option to chat with the Service Desk and get stuck in the same loop again

I get it that Amazon does not make the return process simple, I get it that they want to avoid people getting in touch with an actual Amazon service desk agent (costs money), but come on … I spent an hour getting nowhere and still am stuck with a broken headset! Get your process fixed!

CORRECTION: after spending another 15 mins in the app, I finally ended up in a decision tree that led me to an agent who was able to help me in 30 sec: he organized a direct replacement of the product and a return label for the defect one. So great service but very difficult to find!!!

After seeing so many good reviews, I really expected these headphones to be way much better! My experience was totally different that what most reviewers said, maybe I just got a defected model? The most annoying issue was that there is a strong wind sound whenever there is some slight air movement, especially, going on a bicycle. Basically, that sensation gets so intensified to the level that you cannot hear properly the radio or music unless you turn in on very loud. I tried all the settings, noise cancelling on and off, special option provided by the app to reduce wind noise – nothing, 0 effect! It gives you a feeling as if you a ride a car with the back windows open, a constant intense blowing sound in the ears, very annoying. Then, also, I found the quality of sound itself really crap too. If you listen to the radio, its not very clear and loud, like listening from far away. The same happens with the phone calls – you barely can hear the other person, as if he is talking from another room or so, and the recipient also gets the same impression listening to you. Mind you, volume settings were basically on the max, so I suppose this is not very normal. From the good side, noise cancelling is really effective in general and the headphones are comfortable and soft. Although the plastic feels a bit fragile and I am wondering how long they would last without breaking.

Pros:
– Great sound quality
– Multi-point connection (it’s more useful than you think)
– Decent noise cancellation & ambient sound
– Superb battery life
– Great companion app

Cons:
– Not as stylish and low profile as Sony XM4 when worn
– Noticeable sound leakage

All and all, it has an outstanding performance-price ratio (I got it for 127€)

Na 4 maanden normaal trein- en bureaugebruik is het linker oor al afgebroken van de hoofdtelefoon. Ik ben ontzettend voorzichtig geweest, telkens bij vervoer in een rugzak de hoofdtelefoon in de harde draagtas gestoken. Evenwaardig aan de bouwkwaliteit van de laagste prijsklasse. Aangezien het om fysieke schade gaat valt dit niet onder de standaardgarantie, ook al is de fabrikant van dit toestel de schuldige. Planned obsolescence, na vier maanden. 130 euro weggesmeten.
